Family Newsletter - 2011 Streeter Family Reunion September 2, 2011 - Dear Family & Friends, Here I am again! I wrote this letter once on Tuesday, the 27th of August but before I could send it, our power went out again and I lost the whole thing. I haven't tried it again since, as they have been working on lines in the area and our power has gone out several times this week. So we will try again. So sorry for being so late with it. Trust you will understand and have patience with me. National Grid is working hard to get people's power back on and we do appreciate all their efforts. We just need a lot of patience as this storm has left so many hurting and without homes and/or power! This is a time for earnest prayer for those that have been hit so hard. We begin this letter with my sister, Marge. She is doing well and eating better. Her medications have been changed and has made her feel much better. She gets mixed up on time and people sometimes. It would be nice to send her cards and/or notes from time to time. She may reconnect with us through this way. She made it through the hurricane safely as did her daughter, Irene and Ron. They live on a hill so were saved, but have been without power for several days. Thank God for generators! My sister's address is Mrs. Marge Eberlee - Palatine Nursing Home - 154 Lafayette Street - Palatine, NY 13428 and her daughter's address is Mr. & Mrs. Ron Shaulis - 756 Brand Road - Shrakers, NY 12166 and their e-mail is ,a href="mailto:shaulisr@frontiernet.net">shaulisr@frontiernet.net or shaulisi@frontiernet.net. Let them know you are thinking about them. My sister, Marion is doing better following her time with bronchitis. David was down and spent one day last week with her and she was delighted. She gets out once in awhile, but becomes very tired. She does enjoy visits, calls and notes from family. Her address is Mrs. Marion Bailey - The Pines Room #312 -170 Warren Street - Glens Falls, NY 12801 and phone number is 518-793-2592. My sister in law, Anne is still in the hospital. She has had blood poisoning and pneumonia. She is doing better and should be able to get out of the hospital soon. However, she may have to go to therapy. She got out of bed by herself the other day and does some walking around the hospital. This is good! She misses the family very much. I enjoyed my visit with her the other day. She is very upbeat! God bless her. Give her a call at 518-561-2000 and ask for R637-2 or send an e-mail to Laurie at lauriesudd@aol.com. She will see that her Mom gets the note. Many have asked about my sister, Calista. She's doing fine following her bronchitis. She's back working part time filling in for those on vacations or sick at the meal site in Warrensburg. This is good. She enjoys doing it and it keeps her busy. She and I spent the day together yesterday and had a great time. We haven't been able to get together in quite some time. It was a good day! I am also questioned many times by many people how my sister, Helen is. She is doing okay. She keeps her doctor appointments regularly and we try to keep you updated as we receive them. They got lots of hard rain from the storm, but it didn't destroy their home or anything. For that we are very thankful. Her birthday is coming up this month with some good and some bad thoughts arriving with it. What an opportunity to let her know and find out for yourself just how things are going in her life! Her address is Mrs. Robert Fairlee - 2115 Central Avenue- Lot #119 - Schenectady, NY 12304-4421 and phone number is 518-374-0356. Her e-mail is HFAIRLEE@nycap.rr.com. Our daughter, Barbara is supposed to begin her chemotherapy on Monday the 5th. This is new for her and she is very anxious about it. We would appreciate your continued prayers about this. She will be taking 1 pill every day for a week. She is also not looking forward to her children going back to school. (Her mother never did either!) She is progressing fairly well. She is able to do more of her own work now and getting stronger. God has been so good to her and the family! We thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. I received a letter awhile ago from Ruth Becker (the family has called her Walt's Ruthie!). She is doing well and celebrated her 90th birthday in June. Her daughters take her shopping, to church, doctors or whatever. She thinks and prays for all of us. I send her the newsletter each month and keep in touch with her. She thanks God for His protection and blessings. She is unable to get up to our Family Get Together but says "hello" to everyone. She would love to be here to see us all. We also have received the news that Jeremy (Butch's son) is on tour, once again with the Wizard of Oz. He will be able to get home, I believe for Christmas, but not until then. We need to keep him in our prayers as he travels. His e-mail address is jeremy.granger@live.com. Keep in touch with him while he's away from home and family. As for our Family Get Together we have heard from very few of you as to the fact that you are coming and what you are bringing. Remember it is on Saturday, September 17th and we will eat around 2 PM. The foods that are coming are potato salad, baked beans, fruit salad, macaroni & cheese, juice, Chicken and Stuffing casserole, Swedish meat balls, macaroni salad, cookies, 2 ice cream cakes. Does that sound G-O-O-D or not???? Now all we need is more people to say yes and bring their "goodies" along, too. We are hoping for a great day. So many things have happened to our family in the past couple years and we NEED this time to get together. PLEASE TRY HARD TO MAKE IT!!! We look forward to seeing each and every one of you.
As for our birthdays & Anniversaries for September, here is a list:
If your name or someone you know is not on the list. I need you to share with me those names. We are trying to make up a proper list. I've had some help me with that already, but I need your input also. Thanks so much. I believe I did it this time. I've saved it several times, so I didn't have to do the whole thing over again. Trust you have a good and safe weekend. We thank you for your comments and help as we continue to try to keep everyone updated as things come to me. It is YOUR help that counts! I love each and every one of you. We hope to see you all REAL SOON!!!! With much love to all,

Family Newsletter January 16, 2011 - Hi Everyone, Here we are in the middle of January. Is it possible that we are halfway through a month of a New Year???? The New Year did start off right around here! We've had snow, snow and more snow for the past 2 weeks! That's okay though. We do expect that living here in the North Country. BUT how about those in the South? They have received snow and ice - some more than we. We trust you all, no matter where you live, are doing well, staying safe, well and happy! We are going to attempt to share some family news with you once again. Some we might be happy about and some possibly will be not so happy. But whatever, we trust you will enjoy hearing about YOUR family. I know with me, it helps me to better know how to pray for each one of you. We don't try to print anything anyone does not want us to. We just want to keep in touch with one another. Each one of you are SO important to me. Thank you for listening. (Aunt) Marion is doing okay. She has had a lot of pain in her back and shoulder, but is at home and for that we Praise the Lord! She has been able to get out to do some shopping a couple times. She and David have gone to church with Nancy a few times. I think this is wonderful! What a blessing for her to be able to be out and about. Keep in touch folks. Her address is 32 Outlet Drive, Ticonderoga, NY 12883 and phone number is 1-518-585-2707. (Aunt) Helen and (Uncle) Bob have gone through a rough time with the loss of Glen last Fall. They need to feel the love of family and that we care. We know; we've been there! Why not shower them with cards, a note, or even a phone call. It would be quite an encouragement to them. (Aunt) Helen has not been able to get out this Winter as she can't get around easy when there's ice and/or snow. She is also suffering with another sore on the bottom of her foot. She needs our prayers also. Their e-mail is HFAIRLEE@nycap.rr.com. Phone number is 1-518-374-0356 and address is Central Courts Park - Lot #119 - 2115 Central Avenue - Schenectady, NY 12303-4421. And while we're on this subject, Karen could also use some encouragement. Her e-mail is strypergirl@yahoo.com. Her address is 2158 B Eastern Parkway - Schenectady, NY 12309-6308. (Aunt) Anne has not been able to get out and about this Winter either much. She has had a cold and is still coughing. I spoke with her by phone the other day and it was such a joy to visit with her. In fact, she was an encouragement to me! She has good days now and then. In between, we don't like to speak about them!!!!! Laurie has just had a cataract removed from her eye and needs some healing there. We need to keep her in our prayers. She is just too young to go through this. God bless Laurie! We love you and are praying for you! She is still busy with her job and will soon be doing taxes for people. She needs to be on top of it, so to speak! Their e-mail is lauriesudd@aol.com . Their address is 217 Clark Road - Peru, NY 12972 and phone number is 1-518-643-2523. Let's keep in touch! We have some REAL GOOD NEWS to share with you now. I received a note from Marilyn this past week. She has given her notice at work and will be leaving at the end of January!!!!! Isn't that great news! I don't remember Marilyn ever NOT WORKING!!! Congratulations to you! Now, they can enjoy the rest of their lives together and do the things that they've wanted to do for quite awhile. We are truly happy for you both! Enjoy your time together. Michael and Marilyn have also lost a loved one close to their heart. This has not been an easy time for them either! Why not share a note of congratulations or encouragement with them also!!! Their e-mail is juneway209@juno.com. Their address is 209 Juneway Drive - Chittenango, NY 13037 or phone number is 1-315-687-3676. We have some other GOOD NEWS for you this time. I heard from Tammy Mein awhile ago. She would like everyone to know that she is holding a Baby Shower for Bekah on Sunday, February 13, 2011. This was the day of her Mom's(Joan's) birthday. Bekah is expecting a baby girl and will name her after her grandmother (Paetyn Joan) will be the name. She is trying to schedule it in between Sunday services. Would those of you that would like a personal invitation please e-mail Tammy at tammymein@yahoo.com and let her know or call her at 518-683-002?. With all the hardships this family has been experiencing this past year or so, we need a time to come together on a happy note. Plan on attending and give Tammy a call or e-mail her. We will try to update you as we have the info. Keep watching for it. Tanya Murray will begin her next semester at Adirondack Community College on the 24th. On Tuesday, the 25th she will have classes in the morning and then begin her training at the Saratoga Hospital in the afternoon from 2 - 8 PM. This is an exciting time for her. Keep her on your minds and hearts as she continues to keep up with her studies. She can be reached at samurray98@yahoo.com. There are others in the family that need our attention and love. Please keep them all in mind and try to keep in touch with them now and then whenever you have a moment, make good use of it, PLEASE. We are all busy, but we need to remember those that are alone and hurting. We will be there ourselves one day!!!!! Our birthdays and anniversaries for the month of February are listed next.:
If your name is not listed, it's because you did not give it to me. I need some of you to let me know if you want your name listed. Guess that's enough for today. Take care. You are all special to me. If you're going through some kind of struggle, remember we love you, we care. Share it with us and we will pray for you and leave it with the Lord. He loves each one of us, too. With our love,

Christmas Letter December 18, 2010 - Special Christmas Greetings to one and all, It is hard to believe that Christmas is almost here and the end of the year is not far away! Where did the year go? This year for the Streeter Family has been a hard one to go through. So many things have happened, we can't even begin to name them all. But I guess we don't have to go over all that again. We all have sweet memories of those we've lost and that's what we should keep in our minds and hearts. God has blessed us with a large family - some He has chosen to take home to Him and some He has left here to draw close together as a family and hopefully draw closer to Him. We have been blessed here in the north country. We've not had a lot of snow yet. We only had about 3 inches the other day. It has been quite cold, however. We've had several single digit nights. We need the snow for insulation around our houses to keep them warm. I guess some in the southern states have had snow and ice also. So we aren't the only ones that get cold weather!! Wherever you live, enjoy your Christmas and New Year with your family! We have some news from family and we also would like to share some info from friends that many of us have known and loved down through the years. So if you will bear with us, we'll try to do our best to not forget anything. I am also going to try to keep you posted each month on birthdays and anniversaries. We'll see how it all goes. Keep me posted on your thoughts and ideas. If I don't hear from you, I don't know what's going on in your hearts and lives. Thanks to you who do keep in touch. I really do appreciate it. (Aunt) Marion is doing well. She is getting out some. She and David went to Tammy's (her granddaughter's) for Thanksgiving and is planning to do the same for Christmas. We are so happy to hear she will be with family. What a blessing for her! (Uncle) Norman and (Aunt) Eleanor were up to visit her one day last week and (Aunt) Calista and I went up to see her on the 11th. We had a great visit and she looked so good. She was knitting a baby set (keeping herself busy!) She had been to her heart doctor and he told her everything was good. She doesn't have to go back for 6 months now. That's good news, Marion! Keep up the good work! (Aunt) Marge is still in the Palatine Nursing Home and I'm sure both she and (Uncle) Leo would love to hear from each one of us during this holiday season. Irene goes to see her every day, but she still needs the rest of her family to keep in touch with her. Please do it now! Her address is Mrs. Marge Eberlee - Palatine Nursing Home - 154 Lafayette St. - Palatine, NY 13428. (Uncle) Leo's address is Mr. Leo Eberlee - 19 Sterup Drive - Troy, NY 12180. (Uncle) Bob and (Aunt) Helen have been through a lot this past year. It would be nice for them to hear from some of us during these rough days. Their address is Mr. & Mrs. Robert Fairlee - Central Courts Park - Lot #119 - 2115 Central Avenue - Schenectady, NY 12304-4421. Their e-mail is helenfairlee@nycap.rr.com. Also Karen, Glen's wife is going through a tough time. It might be good to hear from some of you. Her address is Mrs. Karen Fairlee - 2158B Eastern Parkway - Schenectady, NY 12309-6308. Her e-mail is strypergirl@yahoo.com. We also want to remember (Aunt) Anne at this time. I haven't heard anything new, but am sure she would love to hear from all of you. She is at home most of the time. I'm sure it's not easy to get out this time of year for her either. The weather kind of keeps one in most of the time in the north country. Send a card or note to her from time to time. Her address is Mrs. Anne Streeter 217 Clark Road - Peru, NY 12972 or e-mail Laurie at lauriesudd@aol.com. We have been keeping in touch with Ruth Becker. We also send her the family letters. Some of us know her as Walt's Ruthie. She has written to us and directed it to all the Streeter family. I will share excerpts from it with you as she has requested. She wishes for everyone a Blessed New Year and Christmas. God helps and protects her each day. She wants to stay in her home as long as she can with God's help. Her daughter, Phyllis calls her everyday. She takes her wherever she has to go on Wednesdays. She lives about 45 minutes away. Her daughter, Charlotte works and has 2 children at home and 1 in California. She takes her food shopping. Her daughter, Linda and her husband Rick live in Maryland and pastors 2 churches there. They were with her, along with 2 of their daughters on Thanksgiving and had a great time together. They stayed with Ruth. She has trouble writing at her age, but she did very well. She loves us all. Thanks Ruth for the great letter. It was good to hear from you. Her address is Mrs. Ruth Becker - 131 Meetinghouse Road - Hatboro, PA 19040-1912. Take the time to write a note or card to her now and then. She'd love to hear from "family"! We've also heard from Flora (Sturtevant) Nadeau and her husband Art. They are in an RV park near Art's niece and nephew in Phoenix, AZ. They have also met up with Hazel and Ken Smith and had a great time reminiscing with them. Hazel has colon cancer and has been through chemo for it. Doctors believe they have it all. She's doing well. Hazel and her husband live in Buckeye and Ken lives in Tucson. Art and Flora say that God just blesses them all the time. We are so happy they are safe and doing well. It's good to hear these things. Mike and I have been busy. Mike, Gary, Steve, (Steve's friend), Charlie, Zach Allen ( Tanya's boyfriend),Jonathon (Gary's son), Luke (Jonathon's friend)Jon (Bonnie's son) spent some time in the woods hunting this past season. Yes, we do have meat in our freezer!!!They all have a great time together. What a blessing it is for them to enjoy some special time together as a family, doing what they like to do. I made some special goodies for them and good hot coffee when they come in to get warm. They've walked for miles and are cold and hungry! What a blessing for us as parents, grandparents and friends to be able to share this time with them. Mike is also keeping up with his studying of scriptures. He now has added a second Bible Study he is leading for about 4 or 5 months while the leader is away in Florida. He also is preaching on Dec. 26th and Jan.2nd in the little Log Chapel in Putnam Station, NY and possibly may have to fill in at other times if needed. We still have our Bible Study we've had for years in our own home every Tuesday night. He has written some on the End Times for Chris on the streeter website - www.thestreeters.net. This all keeps him very busy. We are also planning on going to Steve and Bonnie's for Christmas Buffet. We are looking forward to that. We will be getting together with Gary and Barb at some point also. We also have a new Great grandson that we want to get to see real soon - Jonathon Levi Jr. We look forward to these precious times when we can make memories together as a family! We want to correct a statement we made last time in our letter. Tanya is going to be doing nurses training in the Saratoga hospital this next semester. She is doing very well in college. This next week she has 4 tests. She had 2 this past week and one of them she received a 95.5%. Good work, Tanya. We are very proud of you! As we begin the New Year, we want to pass along to you the birthdays and anniversaries for January that we have. If we've missed someone, we're sorry, but you need to let us know so we can include yours. Birthdays:
Anniversaries:
We wish each and every one a Happy Birthday and Happy Anniversary! Enjoy your special day! I believe that is all the news I have at the moment. Trust you will all have a Blessed Christmas and a very Happy and Healthy New Year! "And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord." Luke 2:10 & 11 KJV With much love to all,

Autumn Letter November 10, 2010 - Hi everyone, How's everyone doing these fine Autumn days? It has been okay here. We've had a lot of rain, but we really needed it. But it hasn't been too cold. We like it, but some may not. We really looked forward to it after the hot Summer days. You folks down in the sunny south are still getting quite warm weather, aren't you? If you like it, that's great for you. I don't like it. It really doesn't like me, either!!!!! We have some good news to share with you this time and then some that's not really that good. We like to share all kinds with you. We don't like to bore you. We just want to "keep in touch". Some are so far away, it's hard to share with you very often. It seems in the last year and a half we've really seen a lot of you. But we'd rather it be for fun things! Let's change that folks and get together for some good times!!! How's that sound???? (Aunts) Helen and Calista have been quite sick with bronchitis for about 3 or 4 weeks. It just seems to hang on. They are doing better now, but could use some encouragement. Helen's e-mail is HFAIRLEE@nycap.rr.com and phone number is 518-374-0356. Calista's address is Mrs. Calista Murray - P.O. Box 98 - Diamond Point, NY 12824 and phone number is 518-623-2095. (Aunt) Marion was taken to the Moses Ludington Hospital on October 29th. She got up in the morning and her legs gave out and she fell. They found she had another UTI and gave her medication for it and she's doing much better now and is back home. Some of her grandchildren were there this weekend and did some things that needed doing before Winter for her. What a blessing that was! Her address is Mrs. Marion Bailey - 32 Outlet Drive - Ticonderoga, NY 12883 and phone number is 518-585-2707. (Uncle) Leo is doing well. However, he has a problem with his mouth and tongue that makes it difficult for him to eat. The doctor is not sure what it is at the moment. We need to keep praying and keep in touch with him. He loves to read and hear family news. Take the time to write a note or card to him and encourage his heart. God will bless you for it for sure! He has moved from his son's house to his daughter's house now. Please take note of the change of address. His address is Mr. Leo Eberlee - 19 Sterup Drive - Troy, NY 12180. (Aunt) Marge has also been sick a lot this Summer. She is doing okay. (Uncle) Leo talks to her by phone often and when he can, he goes to visit her at the Nursing Home. She's still pretty sharp at times. Irene goes to see her most every day. She could use a little "note" from family. Her address is Mrs. Marge Eberlee - Palatine Nursing Home - 154 Lafayette Street - Palatine, NY 13428. (Aunt) Anne, of course had quite the fall in September. She had to have extra help for awhile. However, we have good news! She is able to get up and around on her own now and so the aids are back to regular schedule. We are so thankful she didn't break any bones. She is blessed to have her 2 grandchildren around a lot to help her also. Heather and Christon are there with her a lot. Christon took a break from her college career and will be going back into Clinton in the Spring. Heather will be graduating with her first degree soon and moving on to the RN program. Jeromie is also doing well. He works full time and has a good job. If you'd like to write a note to Anne, you could send it to Laurie at lauriesudd@aol.com or call and talk to her at 518-643-2523. Her address is Mrs. Anne Streeter - 217 Clark Road - Peru, NY 12972. We are a family blessed with some beautiful young people and have included many of them in our letter. (Aunt Marion's granddaughter) Tammy Mein's daughter, Rebecca is expecting a baby girl in February 2011. Her name will be Paetyn Joan. They are all so excited about this little one coming to their home!! We are so happy for them also. A hearty congratulations to you all. What a joy that will be!!! This will be (Aunt) Marion's great great granddaughter. Jeremy, Butch's son and Melanie's brother works with the Wizard of Oz. He is a carpenter. He left on tour Sunday with the Wizard of Oz for 5 months. He will return around the first part of April. He will be traveling all over, even to Alaska, I understand. He will be putting together the sets and stage props for them. We are so proud of him. We are so happy he could make it to our Family Get Together in September. It was great to see him. His family was able to celebrate his birthday and Christmas with him just before he left on Saturday. A hearty congratulations to him! If you'd like to send him an e-mail while he's away, it is jeremy.granger@live.com. Tanya Murray is studying nursing at ACC. 100 students in nursing had an opportunity to have an interview with the Glens Falls Hospital for nurses training. Tanya was one of them. Out of these 100 students only 84 of them were accepted as students in training. Tanya was one of them also. She will begin training in January. We are so proud of her! Our congratulations Tanya! May God bless you as you help others. Her e-mail address is samurray98@yahoo.com. As we approach the Thanksgiving season, we trust you will all be thankful for your family and plan on getting together at some point to share together the blessings God has given you. Our love goes out to each and every one of you. You are special to us and special to God! If you are out and around our area at any time, PLEASE stop by for a visit. We'd love to have you! With our love and hugs to everyone,

2010 Streeter Family Reunion September 25, 2010 - Hi everyone, Here we are a week past our Family Get Together! What a great day it was for all! The weather was fantastic! Perfect for the day!! We had a good attendance (32) to be exact, good food, fellowship and fun!!!!! If YOU weren't there - you were MISSED!!! We had the joy of seeing our new great grandson, Johnathan Levi, Jr., who arrived with his Mom, Terri, his grandpa and grandma. His Daddy of course had to work. And also another surprise was my sister, Marion was able to come and Glen was able to be there. What blessings God gave us! Of course, as most of you know, there was a little SURPRISE in it! Following the Get Together they planned a celebration for (Uncle) Mike and I for our 50th Wedding Anniversary. It was a total surprise and lots of fun. Marilyn had brought a black top hat for (Uncle) Mike and a veil for me! We had 2 different types of ice cream cake from Martha's soft ice cream. Boy, was that yummy!!!! We received many nice cards, gifts and some pictures were blown up of our wedding day and younger days for us. What a wonderful surprise! We thank each one of you that had a part in our celebration. Our hearts were warmed by the love and kindness that you shared with us. It truly was a special time in our lives. It just does not seem like it has been that long. We have 4 wonderful children and their families, (one of course is with the Lord), but we will meet with him again some day. We've been through a lot in the past 50 years, but God has been gracious and brought us through each and every one of them. We continue to walk with Him and follow His leading in our lives. We have come into our Fall season here in the north country. The color is beginning to really show up here. What beauty! Each change of season shows us more of what God does for us. We love the changes. Of course, this is our favorite time of the year. The weather is just right! Neither one of us can stand the heat and humidity. And this Summer we sure had enough of that. Hope your enjoying life wherever you live! (Uncle) Mike and I have had a busy Summer. We had some bad shingles on our roof and had to have a new roof put on. Of course, we did a lot of the work to help lessen the cost. We had some friends do the biggest part of it, but we were right behind them. That was a tiring chore, but we got it done! Then we planted 20 Norway pines along the neighbors fence. This will help with the water run off and for privacy in the future. It kept us very busy but will be worth it all in the coming years ahead. We also cut down the rest of our trees way up back that were bad. That big job is done! We are thankful for the strength God has given us to be able to still do these things. What a blessing it has been! Our next big thing is the World's Largest Garage Sale in Warrensburg this next weekend. We go over to (Aunt) Calista's and hold a sale at her house. We sell things for family and friends each year and so much enjoy meeting all of the different types of people. Some of our family come along to visit and that makes it that much more special. It does become harder each year, but we just wait to see what we can do and we do it if we can. It's a lot of fun, but also tiring. (Aunt) Calista is so gracious in allowing us to do it. We want to remind you there are family that need our continued prayers and encouragement. I don't need to mention them all again. I just trust you are mindful of it and will show your love, care and concern to all as you think of it. We all need each other whether we think so or not. Without those praying for us and showing concern, we would not be where we are today. We just received word that Art and Flora (Sturtevant) Nadeau are in Indiana. They are traveling in a motor home and enjoying it very much. Many of you have asked about them, so we thought we'd share that little tidbit. We are looking forward to their return, along with Ken and Marian Jones and Dick and Sally Roehr next year. We'd like to get many of us together once again. We had a great time with them this year. What a reunion it was! God is so good! Guess that's enough for this time. We love and care for each one of you. You are very special. And remember "All things are possible with God. (Matthew 19:26 and Mark 10:27) If you are going through a tough time, look up!!! God is there for you. He wants you to reach out to Him! I love you all! With our love and thanks to all,

2010 Streeter Family Reunion August 13, 2010 - Hi everyone, We are going to share with you about our Family Get Together at this time. As I told you in the last letter, it will be held on Saturday, September 18th at Steve and Bonnie's home once again. Instructions as to how to get there will be at the end of this letter. This is so you can cut it off and take it with you. We will be serving the food about 2 PM. In the last few years, we have come to realize even more, how important it is to get together as a family. We have lost some dear loved ones in the past few years that are missed so greatly. We hope each one has saved the time to come and share with us. Our Family is so-o-o important. We dearly want to see each one of you. Everyone is asked to bring a dish to pass. Also, if you know what you want to bring, it would be nice to know, so we don't all bring the same dish. We will let you know as soon as we know what people are bringing. If you'd like to bring a beverage, we need them too. There is a place for you whether you need warmth or cool. We are well prepared for everyone. So just PLEASE COME!!!!!! If you have family members that I've not reached with this letter, please let them know and bring them along. Your invitation is as important as this one! I do send out 10 letters separately in the regular mail. I try to be sure everyone gets one. If you know of a family member that is not receiving this and they have an e-mail or regular address you could send me, PLEASE let me know. I do NOT want to forget anyone. We also have some family news to share with you. Some is good; some not so good, but we give it to you so that all the prayer and encouragement one could get, will be received. (Aunt) Marion is at home and doing okay. She has help come in the morning and afternoons. David is also a lot of help to her. She went to her heart doctor last week and he said she's doing fine there. Praise the Lord! She will be going to her eye doctor this week to see about the cataract on her other eye. We need to remember that when we see other family members suffer and how much a kind word or deed meant to us. (Aunt) Marge's address is Mrs. Marge Eberlee - Palatine Nursing Home - 154 Lafayette Street - Palatine, NY 13428. (Uncle) Leo's address is 16 Windmill Way - Cohoes, NY 12047. Box 91 - Warrensburg, NY 12885. Guess we'd better stop for now. Trust you all will have a blessed rest of the Summer. Our thoughts, hearts and prayers are with everyone of you.   July 18, 2010 July 18, 2010 - Hi everyone, Here we are in the middle of July already! The weather has been so hot here in the North Country, we are beginning to think we are living in Florida! The heat has been terrific for those of us who are used to cooler temps. It has not been an easy Summer for us. Right now I'm sitting in my cellar to write this letter and the humidity is so high, it is VERY uncomfortable. Not my thing, folks! But it is likeable to many tourists and people around us. We just have to stay in the air conditioning most of the time and wait for things to dry up a bit and cool down! This has been a difficult Summer in other ways also. We have lost 2 more of our most precious family members. We have attended 2 beautiful Memorial services for each of them. (Uncle) Mike and I also attended a beautiful Memorial Service for Pastor Floyd Tyler in Malone, NY on July 3rd. We have cried, hugged, loved and prayed for each other as we have gone through this very tough time. God has brought us each through it. We received a card from a very good friend and I would like to quote a phrase from it. "One who loves deeply will weep deeply. The tears we shed are tears of loneliness that say, "I love you and I miss you." I just thought that was so beautiful and I'd never heard it before. It certainly is true. This has been a time of thinking of those good memories we have made in the past. They have been so important. There are happy memories and sad memories but they each play an important part in each of our lives. Some of you out there have not been able to see these 2 loved ones in many years, but still there is something you can remember about each one that helps to bare the loss. Cling to those memories, folks. It's hard, but we all need to do it and keep going on with our lives. I love each and every one of you and will continue to remember you in prayer each day. There are many people to thank for ALL that was done for (Aunt) Ruth when she was in the hospital or The Pines. I'm not going to mention names here. There are just too many and we wouldn't want to forget someone. But God knows who you are and He will bless you abundantly for any act of encouragement, help, comfort, or anything that you did. You are greatly appreciated and loved for anything that made life easier for her while she was here with us. Letters have been sent out to many of you, but I just would like to say that you are very special to the Streeter family for your care, concern and prayers. We all thank you from the bottom of our hearts. (Aunt) Marge is still in the Palatine Nursing Home and is struggling to keep positive thoughts. Irene goes to see her every day. They need our help. It would be nice to let them know that we love them and support them daily. Send cards, notes, letters,a Proverb, Psalm or some "little" thing that would help to lift their spirits from time to time. They need encouragement. The same goes for (Uncle) Leo. They are lonely and feel left out. They can't get out and do things like you and I can. Let's try to do something special to let them know we love them and are thinking about them. (Aunt) Marge's address is Marge Eberlee - Palatine Nursing Home - 154 Lafayette Street - Palatine, NY 13428. (Uncle) Leo's address is Leo Eberlee - 16 Windmill Way - Cohoes, NY 12047. Irene's e-mail is shaulisi@frontiernet.net. (Aunt) Marion is home from the hospital now. She is doing okay. She doesn't walk very well, but she's trying to do what she can. She reinjured her foot she sprained back in June. It is difficult for her to get up and down, but David is there and helps her along. He has been doing a lot to help his Mom. She does have someone come in to help her in the mornings and then again to help with a meal at night. She feels alone, especially since (Aunt) Ruth passed away and of course, her husband, (Uncle) Irv passed away in December. What could we do to help her along? Her address is Marion Bailey - 32 Outlet Drive - Ticonderoga, NY 12883 and Phone number is 518-585-2707. Glen has been through a lot this Summer. He's been in and out of the hospital several times. He goes for dialysis every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. He is doing better since they put a stint in his heart a few weeks ago. Thank the Lord for His Hand upon him. If you would like to send him some encouraging words, his address is 2158 B Eastern Parkway - Schenectady, NY 12309-6308. His e-mail is finhead2003@yahoo.com. Michael and Marilyn McCabe have been through a lot with her Mother's care and now they still have the care of Michael's Dad and Mom. They had a beautiful Memorial Service in Scotia for (Aunt) Dorothy last Sunday. What a blessing it was to see the family again and some we'd never met. Thank you Michael and Marilyn for all the arrangements and planning you did to see that things went so well and your Mom was was so beautifully remembered. You are 2 very special people. Why not send a note or card to them to let them know you appreciate them and will be thinking of and praying for them? Their e-mail is juneway209@juno.com. Their address is 209 Juneway Drive - Chittenango, NY 13037. Steve is progressing along with his Achilles tendon. He goes to work each day at light duty. He will begin therapy on July 27th. Then he is hoping to be able to put some weight on the foot and walk. Tanya also is healing from her surgery on her teeth. She had quite a time of pain with it, but is working 2 jobs and keeping up with normal activity now. Bonnie is still struggling with her back problem. She is supposed to have more shots in the back in August. She does what she can do when she can do it. Her struggles have been many. Thanks to each one of you that have prayed and supported them. Their e-mail is bsmurray05@msn.com if you should like to share something with them. (Aunt) Anne is still having help come in daily. We saw her at the Memorial Service for (Aunt) Ruth. She looked good, but it's not easy for her to get around. Laurie is so good to her and helps her around. We need to remember to "keep in touch" with them to encourage and lift their spirits. Their e-mail is lauriesudd@aol.com. The phone number to call Anne sometime and take up a portion of her day is 518-643-2523. Now for some real good news!!! We will be having a Family Get Together again this year, 2010. Last year we had it in July along with Tanya's graduation party. This year it's going to be held in September once again. Everyone seemed to like this time better. It's not so hot and things are quieted down from the Summer season. So we are hoping to hold it on Saturday, September 18th. We will eat about 2 PM. It seems like 3 PM was a little late as the sun goes down earlier and it gets too cool for some. We decided to try it an hour earlier this year to see how that goes. Everyone is asked to bring a dish to pass. If someone wants to bring drinks instead, please let Steve and Bonnie or me know. Also if you know what you are bringing it would be nice to know ahead of time. If you don't decide until last minute, that's fine too. E-mail addresses are above. We know now even more than before, how important it is to make memories. Let's do it folks!!! We will send directions and other information out closer to the Get Together. PLAN ON COMING!! WE LOOK FORWARD TO IT!!! Guess that's it for this time. Trust your days ahead are pleasant ones. You are loved and appreciated. Hang in there everyone! God loves you and I do too. I will keep in touch. With much love, (Aunt) Lillian, Mom, Grandma, Gram or Friend |

June 21, 2010 June 21, 2010 - Hi everyone, We are here today to bring some good news. As most of you know, Glen Fairlee (Bob & Helen's son) has been in and out of the hospital this past few months several times. The poor guy was beginning to think he lived there!!!!! Anyway, this past week Glen had a severe heart attack. This has caused the doctor's to do some testing. He had a liver test and that proved to be no problem. His enzymes were okay. Praise the Lord for that! They tested his heart and found out he had one blockage and put a stent in for that. He now feels so much better and is eating well. He is waiting for dialysis today and then the doctor said he could possibly go home tomorrow. However, when Karen's working, he will have to stay with Bob and Helen. He cannot be home alone for awhile. Thank you all for praying! Keep them coming! This was a tough week for Glen. Being so sick and in the hospital, he couldn't get to his Aunt Ruth's funeral. But praise God, He's brought Glen through all of this. We are so thankful. Glen's address is - Glen Fairlee - 2158B - Eastern Parkway - Schenectady, NY 12309 or e-mail finhead2003@yahoo.com. Let him know you care. We have another request for prayer. Tanya (Steve and Bonnie's daughter) has to have her 4 wisdom teeth removed surgically next Tuesday, June 29th. Please keep her in your prayers also. She will need some prayer and encouragement. Her address is Tanya Murray - 14 Iris Avenue - South Glens Falls, NY 12803 or e-mail bsmurray05@msn.com. There is also a change in (Aunt) Dot's obituary. It will be in the Daily Gazette around July 6th or 7th not The Times Union as we said before. Please look for it there to those that have access to it. Her Memorial Service is still set for Sunday, July 11th. We'll remind you at a later date. Thanks for your continued prayers for the family members - Michael and Marilyn, Linda, Nancy, Alyson and Marilyn's son Derek. Thank you all for listening. Thank you also for the nice comments I received this weekend for the letters I've written. I enjoy doing it. I just wish there weren't so many sad things to bring to you. But this does keep us all closer together and we certainly need that in these days. Hang in there everyone. We love you all whether we see you daily, often or you are so far away we are unable to get together. You are NOT forgotten. Thank God for the e-mail to keep us in touch. With much love to all - (Aunt Lillian) Lillian Mom Grandma Sister Friend or whatever you want to call me - I love you all! |

June 14, 2010 June 14, 2010 - Hi everyone, I am called to be the bearer of sad news tonight. (Aunt) Dot passed away yesterday morning, Sunday, June 13th about 9:15 in a nursing home in Syracuse area. She has given her body to a Medical Facility there. There will be no services at the present time. There will be a Memorial service about mid July (Possibly around the 10th or 11th.) in Scotia where (Aunt) Dot and (Uncle) Gordon lived and raised their family for many years. She was loved and will be missed greatly by many of her family and friends. But we have to realize too, that she would've been 88 next Sunday and has lived a good long life and blessed many people. (Aunt) Ruth also passed away today, Monday, June 14th in The Pines in Glens Falls. She perked up today and acted really good. Then, just as everyone was ready to leave her room, she took some deep breaths and passed away. We haven't any other information yet, but as soon as everything is together, we will pass it on to you. (Aunt) Ruth was also loved by all of us and we certainly will miss her a lot. But also with (Aunt) Ruth we realize she'd been through so much these past months and that she was tired and wanted to go Home to be with the Lord. She has certainly lived a good long life and has been a blessing to all she came in contact with. As much as we've loved these 2 dear ladies, God loves them too and now they are at peace with Him. God bless each and every one of you. With love to all,

May 2010 - UPDATE May 16, 2010 - Hi everyone, We have a couple of updates that really need some serious prayer. (Aunt) Ruth has had a setback this past week. She started out with some kind of congestion and cold. That is better. However, she is suffering (we believe) from withdrawal of some of the narcotics they've had to give her the past 3 months. She keeps having weird dreams and hollers out. She's having anxiety attacks. She also has a urinary tract infection. This is definitely not the way (Aunt) Ruth acts. There were some days this week that they could not take her down for therapy. She needs our prayers. She has had a CT Scan this week at Glens Falls hospital on her back. She will be going down to Albany Medical Center on Wednesday to see her doctor there. If the CT Scan proves her back is healed, she will be able to have the halo and back brace removed. THIS NEEDS OUR URGENT PRAYERS - PLEASE!!!! Ruth's address is The Pines - Mrs. Ruth Robbins - 170 Warren Street - Glens Falls, NY 12801. We also have an update on Glen Fairlee (Aunt Helen's & Uncle Bob's son). He had some appointments on Thursday the 13th. He went to his Gastroenterologist first and his enzymes are going down. They will keep watch of it. They believe the liver problem was due to the high sugar. He has to have another blood test in 2 weeks. He also has 2 cysts on his pancreas and they will continue to watch that. He has had it for 2 years. Then he went to the Wound Center at Memorial Hospital. He has an ulcer on the top of both feet. He has some ointment to put on with a band aid on top of that and then wrapped with gauze every day. He has to go back to the Wound Center this Thursday, May 20th. We need some serious prayers for this one, also. Glen has been through so much. Once again, Glen's address is 2158 B Eastern Parkway - Schenectady, NY 12309. We thank you all so much for listening and for praying. These are urgent requests. We're not always the bearer of bad tidings, but we felt very seriously that
these people need our love, encouragement and support. If you could send a card, note, visit or anything you can think of to let them know you love them and care,
we would be ever so thankful. God is good. He doesn't make any mistakes. He will take care of His own. We just have to do our part to let them know we are here
and love them. Thanks so much from the bottom of our hearts. We do love and appreciate each one of you. You are special - just to listen!

May 2010 May 9, 2010 - Hi everyone, How's it all going with you these days? A very Happy Mother's Day to all of the Mother's out there! You are loved and appreciated! I'm finally here as I promised. This has been one busy week. But praise the Lord, we have a new roof over our heads and NO LEAKS!!!! It is worth it all! God is good to us! We have a lot of news to share with you this time. Hope you have some extra time to spend in listening to all the "good" and "bad" things we have to share. Even through the rough times our Lord seems to bring us safely through it all. We look to Him for all of our help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1) and praise Him for all He does for each one. (Aunt) Ruth has come through a busy week! The Pines took her in a van to Albany Medical Center on Wednesday. (Aunt) Calista went with her in that van. The doctor had looked over her x-rays she had in Glens Falls Hospital and said her neck looked good. However, he couldn't see the x-ray good on her back, so he wants her to have a CT scan this week in Glens Falls and then go back in 2 weeks ( the 19th) once again. Then he will be able to tell how her back is doing. He said that if she wasn't healed, she couldn't possibly do what she's doing in therapy. But to be sure, he needs the CT scan. So we continue to wait. In therapy she has taken 5 steps twice in one day. We are so proud of the work she is doing. She just keeps amazing us! IF on that day everything is healed, he will then remove the halo and back brace. Hallelujah! Keep praying! She will then have to continue her work with therapy to get all those unused muscles working once again. It will still be a long road back, but progress is being made! Her address is The Pines - Mrs. Ruth Robbins - Room 419B - 170 Warren Street - Glens Falls, NY 12801 (they moved her nearer the air conditioning as she cannot be too warm with all the fleece in her back brace. This is why the change in room letter.) (Aunt) Calista and I were down to visit her yesterday and she was not feeling well. She has some kind of a cold, allergy or something and was struggling all day. The doctor told the nurses what to do for her and he will be in on Monday to see her. We'll know more later. (Aunt) Marion is still in The Pines also in the room next to (Aunt) Ruth. She is doing fairly well. They will have a conference with The Pines on Tuesday of this week (11th). She is walking with a walker quite well. She does feel weak and sick to her stomach from time to time. She is hoping to go back home soon, but it will depend on the conference on Tuesday. Her address is The Pines - Mrs. Marion Bailey - Room 421A - 170 Warren Street - Glens Falls, NY 12801. (Aunt) Dot was in the hospital at Easter time and is now in rehab. She was in bed so much in the hospital that she lost strength in her legs. She has made some progress, but might have hit a plateau now. They are continuing to work with her to see if she can progress any further. She will not be able to go back to her apartment, but possibly assisted living. We just wait to see what can be done for her at this time. Michael and Marilyn are busy with her mother and Michael's parents also. Their load is heavy and we need to encourage them. Their e-mail is juneway209@juno.com. You can send any notes or letters to Marilyn and she will read them to her mother. Her home address is 209 Juneway Drive - Chittenango, NY 13037 should you want to send a card for either of them. (Aunt) Anne has good days and bad days. She still does quite a bit for herself. She is using a cane, walker or wheelchair, depending on where she is and who she is with. She has an aid come in everyday to help her with a shower and things around the house as she shouldn't be alone all the time. She has lifeline, but that doesn't help as well as someone being right there with her. Their e-mail is lauriesudd@aol.com and I'm sure they would love to hear from some of us. (Uncle) Leo and (Aunt) Marge celebrated an anniversary yesterday. Our congratulations to them! (Aunt) Marge's address is Palatine Nursing Home - 154 Lafayette Street - Palatine, NY 13428. (Uncle) Leo's address is 16 Windmill Way - Cohoes, NY 12047. Both of them are in ill health and need some "sunlight" in their life. Is that something we could provide?? Glen has been in the hospital several times in recent weeks. He has some serious problem with his liver and has had some infection in his feet. We all know he has had juvenile diabetes for years. He will be going to a liver specialist on Thursday, the 13th then later to a wound center to have his feet checked out. Please keep Glen in your prayers. If you'd like to send him a card or note, his address is 2158 B Eastern Parkway - Schenectady, NY 1230-6308. Our grandson, Jason (12) our daughter, Barb's son has developed mono recently. He has to stay quiet. He cannot go to school but does keep up with his homework as much as possible. He is improving and sees a doctor regularly. This is contagious, so they have to watch the rest of the family. Their address is P.O. Box 91 - Warrensburg, NY 12885. Our granddaughter, Kaylee has also been through a lot. She has had 2 toe surgeries in recent weeks and now on Tuesday, the 11th. she has to have surgery on the inside of her lip to remove a bunch there. Please remember these young people in your prayers. We do have some good news to report. Christie Streeter (Ron & Sue's daughter) will be married this Friday, the 14th down in North Carolina. This is an exciting thing for this family. I'm sure they are one busy family this week. We expect to hear that they won the "roller skating" award this week the way they will be running around!! Our Congratulations to the bride and groom!!! Ron's e-mail address is streeter.ron@gmail.com. Josh and Kathy (Gary & Crystal's son and our grandson) will also be married on May 25th in Jamaica. They will be having a reception back home here in June when they return. Our congratulations to Josh and Kathy, also!!! Josh and Kathy's address will be 114 Juniper Drive - Ballston Spa, NY 12020-3827. John & Terri (Gary & Crystal's son and our grandson) will be expecting a baby boy on June 16th. We are all anxiously awaiting the coming of this new little bundle of joy! Our congratulations and best to them as they bring a new little one into their lives. Their address is 7 Washburn Street - South Glens Falls, NY 12803. We also have some other young people that are going through their final exams right now and will be graduating or leaving college and going on to summer jobs very soon. They are Christon Suddard (Laurie's daughter) Tanya Murray (Steve & Bonnie's daughter) and Jon Bombard ( Bonnie's son will be graduating). Keep these young people in your prayers as they need wisdom, knowledge and understanding of all they've learned to pass these exams. Our congratulations to each one of them! To reach Christon, Laurie's e-mail is lauriesudd@aol.com; to reach Tanya or Jon e-mail Steve and Bonnie at bsmurray05@msn.com and they will see to it they get the message. This is vey important to them. Most of us know what it's like in college and it's not getting any easier! I am including in this letter some very important information about 2 of our former pastors that many of our family and friends who will be reading this have asked and asked me about. I thought this was the best way I could get the information out to so many people. I have talked with Mrs. Helen Tyler and her daughter, Jacki in recent days. Jacki has shared with me about the flood down there in Nashville where they live. I will repeat her words. "We have come through an "epic flood" without much personal damage. Our property includes a small stream with 3' walls, so we watched with concern as the water rose to the top of the walls, touching a small bridge we have for decorative purposes. Our lawn served as a conduit for water from the road and ditches to run into the creek. This week we discovered that the apartment where Mom lives had had some seepage, so we are using fans, shop vac and a dehumidifier to rectify that. But..our church family has been hit HARD. Several have lost their houses and cars. We are waiting for the Cumberland River to recede before getting to start the clean up. Our church was flooded in the lower level, necessitating carpet removal and drywall replacement up 2'. Isaiah 30:20 speaks of "bread of affliction and waters of adversity" - we're learning!!!" I repeat her message as we don't hear about these kind of things on TV. These people all need our prayer support and I trust by including this, many more will be prayerfully supporting these dear people. Our hearts certainly go out to them! Also, Mrs. Tyler has told me that there will be a Memorial Service for Rev. Floyd Tyler at the Malone Wesleyan Church at 2 PM on July 3rd. They held it there at this time as the Camp Meeting will be also going on at West Chazy and people that are attending that will be able to be there also. Mrs. Tyler and her son, Gary will be attending the camp meeting. If anyone wants to see her, that would be the best time!! Mrs. Tyler's address is Mrs. Helen Tyler - 158 Spring Valley Road - Nashville, TN 37214. Some other info that Mrs. Tyler gave me was about another one of our beloved pastors, Rev. Ken Morris and his wife, Joyce. Ken is in a Nursing home in Marion, IN. His wife, Joyce lives in an apartment behind the Nursing Home. Ken knows Joyce, but no one else. Her daughters, Laurie and Jessica are out there with her. Many have asked about them and wanted their address. Here it is - Mrs. Joyce Morris - 1821 West Bradford Street - Apartment 203 - Marion, IN 46952. She would love to hear from us and certainly needs some encouragement. There was a lot of news this time and I trust I've not forgotten anyone. I'm glad the Lord has given me the opportunity to do this. It is a blessing to me to be
able to keep family and friends updated. God bless each one of you. I love you all and trust you will have a great week. Until we meet again----

April 2010 April 11, 2010 - Hi Everyone, How are things going out there for each of you? We have had beautiful weather here in the Northeast. Yes, we had some rain, but most of the weather here recently has not been normal for this time of year. We have had beautiful warm days and lots of sunshine. What a blessing it has been!! We have some things to share with you. We hope it will help to keep you updated on some family news. We need to keep in touch with each other. It is so important in these trying days to encourage, love and share with each other. This is what I try to do with these letters. I trust in some ways, they are a blessing to each one of you. (Aunt) Ruth is doing very well. (Uncle) Mike and I went down on Friday to see her and watched her, once again, do some therapy. She did different things this time and it was fun watching her to see how well she's progressing. God is so good and we must thank Him for His blessing in bringing her through all of this. She was kidding with the therapists, laughing with all of us and having a good time while doing her "thing". She has had several different visitors - some from Hague, some family, and some just good old friends. Many have sent cards, notes, letters and she enjoys each one of them and is very thankful to each one. We don't want you to think because of all this that Ruth is all healed and coming home soon. She still has a long ways to go, but her progression is just unbelievable. She is giving the Lord the credit also. It is just amazing! We are so thankful. Her address now is THE PINES - Mrs. Ruth Robbins - Room #419A - 170 Warren Street - Glens Falls, NY 12801. Everyone loves her and she does love it there. (Aunt) Marion is in the Fletcher Allen Hospital in Burlington, Vermont. She has a urinary tract infection and has been very ill with it. She is doing better. She is eating. She will have to be in rehab also following this stay because she's very weak. Tammy has been with David at the house but I believe will be going home today or tomorrow. David will be staying with a friend, Nancy until (Aunt) Marion gets home. I don't have the address for the hospital at this time. But if you want to send cards or notes to her at her home address, someone will see to it that they get to her. Hopefully, soon we will have an address for her and we will send it out by way of e-mail. Her home address is 32 Outlet Drive - Ticonderoga, NY 12883. Thanks for anything you could do to brighten her life. She has lost her husband and is in need of some encouragement. Remember her birthday is April 21st. She will be 83. I have also heard recently that (Aunt) Dot has been in the hospital out near Syracuse. I heard she was doing better, but I bet she could use some encouragement. Her home address is 417 Churchill Ave. - Apt. # 808 - Syracuse, NY 13205 or you could send Marilyn a note by way of e-mail at juneway209@juno.com and I'm sure she would see that her Mom gets the message. (Aunt) Anne was down in Albany to see (Aunt) Ruth on her birthday just before she moved to Glens Falls. What a blessing that was for her to be able to go way down there to see her! Keep her in your thoughts and prayers. She has to have help with things and would love to hear from any of us. Her address is 217 Clark Road - Peru, NY 12972 or you could e-mail a letter to Laurie at lauriesudd@aol.com. She will also see that her Mom gets the message. (Aunt) Marge is also still in the Palatine Nursing Home and I'm sure would love to hear from some of us. Her address is Palatine Nursing Home - Mrs. Marge Eberlee - 154 Lafayette Street - Palatine, NY 13428. Her husband, Leo also is not well and stays at his daughter's house. It would be great if some would be in touch with him and encourage him. His address is Mr. Leo Eberlee - 16 Windmill Way - Cohoes, NY 12047. There are also some happy things happening for us to continue to remember. Christie Streeter (Ron and Sue's daughter) is getting married next month; Josh (Gary & Crystal's son) is getting married next month and also Johnathon & Terri Murray (Gary & Crystal's son and daughter in law) are having a baby boy around June 17th. Keep these in your hearts and minds. We need to also remember those in colleges that will be having some hard exams and studies in the next few weeks. There are Christon Suddard (Laurie's daughter) Jon Bombard (Bonnie's son) and Tanya Murray (Steve and Bonnie's daughter). This is going to be a difficult time for all of them. Keep in touch with them through their parents and let them know you care. This is a very important time in their lives. We also want to include Tanya's boyfriend Zach Allen. He will be going into the Army on April 27th. This will also be quite a change for both of them. Thank you to each one of your for all you do for the family. I don't know all about what you've done, but I do the One that does know. He will bless you in many ways for blessing someone's life. You are each very special to Him and to me also. I love and pray for each one of you every day.

April No Foolin? April 1, 2010 - Hi Everyone, I am happy to report to you what I actually saw (Aunt) Ruth do today!!!! I got down there after they had just taken her down to therapy. So I went down and watched all that she did. What a blessing it was!!! I actually saw her standing (with help) 3 times!!!!! What a thrill!!!! They also had her kick a ball back and forth. She had to raise her arms toward her head 15 times each and then swing them out to her side 15 times each and she did it!!!!!! Then they tried a new machine on her where she put her foot up against the machine and she had to bend her knee and push the step back and forth 15 times each leg. She did it!!! She also had to sit up straight and put pegs in a hole. It was great seeing her doing all these things. This could only be the Lord's work!! I was just so excited I couldn't wait to get home to tell everyone. God is certainly touching her life in a big way. We can all be very thankful she's progressing so well. The place she is in is beautiful. It is all newly done with blue walls and blue carpet - just her color. She does have a long ways to go, but God is with her every inch of the way. We should all give Him much praise and be very thankful. Her attitude is good and she does everything she can. She's eating some, but has lost 50 pounds now. I guess that is all for tonight, but I felt I saw it for myself and I wanted to let everyone know just how well she's getting along. Those people are so good to her. She is a blessed lady and says it!!!!! Thank you for listening. I love everyone of you. You are each one very special to me whether near or far away!

March 2010 March 30, 2010 - Hi Everyone, (Aunt) Ruth is now at The Pines on Warren Street in Glens Falls. She arrived yesterday afternoon. (Aunt) Calista helped her get settled in. She had a time adjusting at first, but was okay after awhile. The doctor came in to see her and a friend from years ago works there. This helped a lot. (Aunt) Calista is checking on her today and (Aunt) Eleanor and (Uncle) Norman are going down tomorrow morning. Anyone can come to see her at any time. If she is having therapy, you may go down to therapy with her. They had her sitting upon the edge of the bed last night! She is doing very well today. She's sitting up in a chair, kicking a ball and doing all that she's asked to do. What a delightful change! Also, we would like to share with all of you that Melanie Granger (Butch's daughter) lost her Grandpa (Don Persons) on Sunday. He was driving
his car when he had a heart attack. He died from the heart attack. The visiting hours are from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 PM tomorrow, March 31st at the
Barton, McDermott Funeral Home in Chestertown and the funeral will be on Thursday, April 1st at the funeral home also at 11 AM. Melanie's e-mail

end of April. Her address is 32 Outlet Drive,Ticonderoga, NY 12883. I'm sure she would love to hear from any of us.
Thanks for anything you could do to make any of these precious family members life a little brighter. We love you all.

March 2010 March 27, 2010 - Hi Everyone, We are trying to get Spring in here, but Winter doesn't want to give up completely yet. It's coming, though. Hang in there to all of us up in the north country! To those in the Sunny South, I sure hope your weather becomes a little warmer for you also. You've had quite the Winter down there! We think of you all and pray for you daily. We have some good news tonight about (Aunt) Ruth. We just received word a few hours ago that she will be transferred to THE PINES on Warren Street in Glens Falls on Monday or Tuesday the 29th or 30th for rehab. That is good for several of us and all the people from Hague also that would like to visit her. She will be closer to us. This is what she wanted and has been checked out and is qualified to take care of her serious injuries. We thank the Lord for answered prayer. This is tentative. IF everything goes well for her this weekend and she is okay, they have a bed for her there and she will be transferred most likely in the afternoon on one of those days. The address there will be Mrs. Ruth Robbins - THE PINES -170 Warren Street - Glens Falls, NY 12801. So continue to pray for her safety and healing. She is eating bland foods and drinking some. She still, however does have a feeding tube in. The tracheotomy has been removed and she is talking all the time now. Her birthday is tomorrow. She will be 85. If you haven't sent a card or note to her for her birthday, take the time now to let her know you are so happy she is in rehab and progressing, please. We know this will be a long process, but Ruth will, with God's help make it through. We need to trust Him. Praise the Lord for His blessing! (Aunt) Marion will be going to the hospital on Tuesday, March 30th to have one of her cataracts removed. Tammy will be staying with her following the surgery for a few days. Her address is 32 Outlet Drive, Ticonderoga, NY 12883 and telephone number is 1-585-2707. Keep in touch one way or another. Her neighbors and friends have been in and checked on her from time to time and do some things for her. What a blessing that is! Some have asked about Bonnie so I mention her here also. She is still not working. She has just been sent to another hospital and doctor this past Tuesday, the 25th. to have the 3 shots done again in her back. Hopefully, this will help her. She still is constantly in a lot of pain in her back and is careful about what she does. Her e-mail is bsmurray05@msn.com or address is 14 Iris Ave. South Glens Falls, NY 12803. As for Crystal some have also asked about her so we can tell you that her pneumonia is gone. She is doing fine there. She is, however, having a cyst removed from under her arm tonight at the doctor's office. She has been in a lot of pain from that these past 2 weeks. Her e-mail address is gmurr2002@yahoo.com. She would love to hear from some of you. They are also still awaiting a baby boy to be born to Johnathon and Terri around June 18th. and a wedding for Josh and Kathy on May 26th. What an exciting time for all of us in the Murray household! We also do not want to forget Christie (Ron and Sue's daughter) who is getting married in May. This is also a very exciting time for them. Their e-mail is streeter.ron@gmail.com. They live in North Carolina - a long ways away and I'm sure would love to hear from any of us. (Uncle) Mike has been discharged from his Chiropractor this month for his pinched nerve in his back. He is doing much better. He has helped me houseclean our whole house. Now, he plans to get out and try to rake a bit, if the snow all goes away. We thank the Lord for His blessing of good health. Remember Chris and Sidney as you pray. Sidney just had surgery here a short time ago and is still recuperating from that. They need the Lord's direction in their lives as they await some contracts for homes to be built. Also it would be nice if Chris were able to get out here to see Aunt Ruth. These are all things we need to remember. If you haven't contacted them recently - please send an encouraging note to them at chris@thestreeters.net or sid@thestreeters.net. Guess that's all for tonight folks. Trust you all have a Blessed and Happy Resurrection Sunday on April 5th. We'll be
praying for each and every one of you. We love you all.

February 2010 February 28, 2010 - Hi Everyone, Here it is the Sunday after the worst snow storm of the Winter here in the North Country! Wow and what a storm! It has put many people in the cold and caused a loss of many things to many people. We were fortunate here in Diamond Point. We only got 22 inches on Wednesday and a cold rain on Thursday. Then we went back to snow on Friday, Saturday and again Today. It just does not want to let go. We just thank the Lord for the strength to keep up with it all. We only lost our power for about 4 hours Wednesday night. I guess it was our turn, seeing as how those in the south got storm tossed earlier. We have some good news and some bad news to pass on to each of you. We will try our best to keep you on top of everything as we can. The first news we should relay to you is about (Aunt) Ruth. As most of you know, she was taken to Albany Medical Center on February 17th because of a fall down her stairs in the house. On Thursday, the doctors did a tracheotomy on her, so to remove the respirator from her mouth. They also placed a feeding tube in her stomach. On Friday,we were all encouraged as they gave her a new air bed mattress that turns her from right to left automatically to prevent bed sores. Gordon J. brought in a small board to her so she could communicate with people. Her address there again is Albany Medical Center - Room D334 - 43 New Scotland Ave. Albany, NY 12208. We all need to pray, believing, that God will touch her in a special way. (Jesus said in Matthew 21:22) "And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive." (Aunt) Marion is home and doing okay. She has David with her. Tammy has gone home until (Aunt) Marion has her cataracts on her eyes done. We don't know now when that will be done. We'll keep you posted. Her address is 32 Outlet Drive, Ticonderoga, NY 12883. Gary's wife, Crystal has had pneumonia. She is better now, but still very careful. Of course, over there in Thurman they received 40 inches of snow this week. They've been really snowed in! Their e-mail address is gmurr2002@yahoo.com. If you'd like to congratulate them their youngest son Johnathon and his wife, Terri are expecting a baby boy on June 16th. Also, their oldest son, Josh and his fiancé are getting married in May. There are some good things happening in that family. Congratulations to each one of you. We are awaiting the exciting days ahead. Sidney, Chris' wife has had surgery this past Monday, February 22nd. Chris wrote to some of you that she is experiencing more pain than anticipated this far past the surgery. She has no complications and she will continue to get better each day. Chris has been through many surgeries with Sidney since they were married 14 1/2 years ago but this one has been the most difficult and longest recovery so far. They thank everyone for their love and prayers for them and (Aunt) Ruth. They are struggling to hang on until Chris gets some contracts closed (hopefully in the next 30 days). Once they do they will have a little extra and Chris will fly back to see (Aunt) Ruth. They hope everyone is well and managing to stay afloat during these tough economic times. He gave an appropriate verse of scripture for this time and I thought we should include that again. Psalms 37:25 "I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or His children begging bread." Keep them in your prayers, also, please. Their e-mail address is chris@thestreeters.net or sid@thestreeters.net. Steve has had to work out of town this week. He's gone with his foreman to around the Kingston area. They have over 50 inches of snow there and have around 130,000 people without power. He's been putting in many hours here and then called to work down there. Bonnie and Tanya will miss him while he's gone. Their e-mail is bsmurray05@msn.com if you'd like to contact them. We need to also remember our college students, once again. They are Christon Suddard, (Laurie's daughter) at lauriesudd@aol.com; Tanya Murray (Steve's daughter) at the above mentioned e-mail address; and Jon Bombard (Bonnie's son) at the above address for Bonnie. Keep them in your prayers, also. They need our full support. There is a lot out there in the colleges for them to deal with. It's not an easy road. Also we don't want to forget Christie Streeter (Ron and Sue's daughter) who is getting married on May 14. Keep them in your prayers, as they prepare for that marriage. You cold reach them through Ron and Sue's e-mail which is streeter.ron@gmail.com or streeter.sue@gmail.com. Keep in touch with each other from time to time. Let's keep the Streeter family closely knit. We love each one of you and trust your days
will be filled with much love and laughter. Laughter is good for the heart, you know!!!

February 2010 February 7, 2010 - Hi Everyone, How is everyone doing out there? Trust things are going well for all of you. We have had some lovely weather this Fall and Winter. Yes, we’ve all had some bad weather, but it hasn’t been as bad as some. Winter has not been a real cold one, nor a snowy one. It has helped us up here in the north country with our fuel bills. We are so blessed! Chris has asked me to include my letters to the family in our new Streeter web site he has created. (www.thestreeters.net) I am going to try to do that. I will also continue sending those I do by regular mail, so you won’t miss anything. Trust this will all work out for all of you. Praise the Lord (Aunt) Marion is home!!!!!! Her granddaughter, Tammy is with her now. She has been in and out of a hospital ever since (Uncle) Irv’s funeral. She was taken to the hospital in Tie at that time and then transferred to Glens Falls Hospital. They treated her there and sent her to THE ORCHARD in Granville for therapy. She has been back and forth between hospital and therapy sessions ever since. Tammy has been with her most of the time at least while in the hospital. David was with a family friend. She could really use some encouragement, such as a note, phone call, card or something. Her home address is 32 Outlet Drive, Ticonderoga, NY 12883 and home phone number is 518-585-2702. (Aunt)Ruth has been in the house ever since (Uncle) Irv’s funeral on December 17th. She just has not dared to venture out with the snow and cold. She doesn’t get around as good as she used to. She has to be very careful and doesn’t want to fall. She’s been wrapped up in her blanket a lot this Winter. Winter’s are very long for her. We try to get up to visit her and help her with her grocery shopping at least. Her address is P.O. Box 571, Hague, NY 12836 and phone number is 518-543-6046. What can you do to shorten her Winter?? (Aunt)Anne has extra help caring for her now. She has had quite a ’bout’ with pneumonia and of course her asthma is bothered also. We are so grateful she is with Laurie and the family. But still could use a "visit" from us in some way, whether by note, card, or phone call; whatever each of us could do would be very helpful. She can be reached through Laurie’s e-mail @ lauriesudd@aol.com or address is 217 Clark Road, Peru, NY 12972 and phone number is 518-643-2523. (Aunt) Dot also still lives alone. We are thankful also that Michael and Marilyn, Linda and Derek are so close by to keep in touch with her. She also needs to hear from her other members of her family. Her address is 417 Churchill Ave. Apt. 808, Syracuse, NY 13205 and telephone number is 315-469-7430. She also could receive a note or letter addressed to Marilyn’s e-mail address at mccabe@syrres.com .They used to have an ad on TV I believe it was for a phone - "Reach out and touch someone today". We need to do that every day to lift someone’s spirit’s. (Aunt) Marge also is still in the Palatine Nursing Home. I know Leo, Irene and Ron get to see her often. We all need to send some encouraging notes, cards off to her to make some of her days a little lighter. Her address is Palatine Nursing Home - 154 Lafayette St. Palatine, NY 13428 and phone number is 518-673-2619. I’m sure if you’d rather e-mail Irene at shaulisi@frontiernet.net she would receive it also. We should also remember Glen as he has his dialysis 3 times a week. This guy has been through so much with this every week. He’s been in the hospital a couple of times in recent months. Keeping up with diabetes is a struggle sometimes. We need to keep him in our prayers and contact him once in awhile. His address is 2158B Eastern Parkway, Schenectady, NY 12309-6308. (Uncle)Mike has been struggling this past year with a bad back. Finally in December he got so bad the Lord led us to a Chiropractor in Chesterown. He has helped him a lot. He is just now beginning to feel better. He has a pinched sciatic nerve in his back which has caused much pain in his legs also. The Chiropractor has not allowed him to do anything for quite some time. He’s just beginning to do some light work - no heavy lifting and no twisting and turning. We just thank the Lord for sending us to this Christian Chiropractor. He has become not only a good Chiropractor, but a good friend as well. We thank you for your prayers. The Lord has been right there for us every time we call upon Him. We will be looking forward to getting together with Family in September, Lord willing. I know some have been asking
already if we are going to have one. We sure hope so. It is fun to be together as a family. I think now of the times my
Mother looked so forward to seeing everyone. I realize now what that feeling is like. We can’t get together often, but we
sure can enjoy it when we can. Keep some time open in mid September and PLEASE plan on coming and getting together. We love
each one of you and continue to pray for each one by name daily. You are all special to us. God bless.
