Living Off The Grid March 22, 2010 - I have become increasingly interested in independent living - in life off-the-grid. I have added this section to the website to proivide a place to share resources about independent living. To me this interest eventually means building and living in a home that is independent of any external sources for power, water, heating and cooling. A home where if oil became scarce, I could go on mostly as if nothing had changed. For me, this is not about politics but about independence. The ability to live comfortably, free from reliance on any external energy sources. Stay tuned for new things as I find and share them. |
